Before we start looking at the individual eMed systems, let's briefly look at the important websites for keeping informed in the undergraduate Medicine program.

Click on the link to open to the Faculty of Medicine website in a new page.

Click on the link “Medicine Program website” link under the heading “Current Students” (login with your student number and zpass). Some information will be unavaiable if you do not login.

This will take you to a site which provides information for students enrolled in the undergraduate Medicine Program.
Please note that any reference to Medicine in these notes also applies to students doing the combined Arts/Medicine Program.

This website reflects the information in the document “Program Guide for Students” which you received on your first day of the Foundations course.
If you haven't already done so, log in to the Medicine program website with your student number (preceded by the letter “z” in lower case) and zPass (password).
Notice the various sections of this website by clicking the items in the top menu bar (ie, Overview, Learning REsources, Phase One etc). Spend some time familiarising yourself with the information available on this website.

Click the About eMed link on the Medicine program homepage to open the eMed Help site for students:
• Read the information provided.
• Pay particular attention to the information about logging in and logging out of systems, and about the unauthorised use of systems.
• Please note that you are required to abide by the UNSW ICT Policies you accepted when you enrolled (see http://www.its.unsw.edu.au/policies/policies_home.html )
• Read the information provided for each system (use navigation list in table or on left side of screen).
