Sample Assessment

Read these instructions first!

This is a sample paper to help prepare you for the Integrated Medical Sciences exam at the end of the year.

There are 100 questions in total, based on six case histories. The upper frame contains the case history pertaining to the questions in the lower frame. For the questions relating to the case history, indicate whether each statement is true or false.

This trial exam uses carried-through negative marking, as will be employed in the end-of-year examination. For your convenience in attempting the sample paper, each case is marked separately.

You will score:

• +1 for each correctly identified statement
• -1 for each incorrectly identified statement and
• 0 for each omitted statement.

Submit your answers when you have completed the questions for one case. Feedback will be generated automatically. Then you can view the interactive images provided to illustrate the case (when relevant), or move on to the next case.

Note that the end-of-year examination will consist of 150 items.
